Vitamin B2 axicur^® 10 mg Tablets

For prophylaxis and treatment of vitamin B₂ deficiency diseases.

The active substance riboflavin, also known as vitamin B₂, is used for prophylaxis and treatment of vitamin B2 deficiency. Vitamin B₂ axicur^® is available in a strength of 10 mg in packs of 20 tablets.

What you should know about vitamin B₂:

• Vitamin-B₂ deficiency may be caused by an unbalanced diet. Particularly high levels are found in whole grain foods, yeast, milk, eggs, and meat, especially liver.
• A lack of vitamin B may also be caused by a vegetarian or vegan diet when accompanied by gluten intolerance.
• Vitamin B₂ helps maintain normal functioning of the skin, mucus membranes, and the nervous system.

Symptoms of vitamin B2 deficiency may include:

• fissures in the corners of the mouth
• watery eyes
• chronic inflammation of the oral mucosa
• As vitamin B₂ deficiency is often associated with a lack of other B vitamins, you should consult your physician. Vitamin B2deficiency can be checked by means of a blood test.
