Treatment of vitamin C deficiency diseases

Stressful periods, coupled with a long-term unbalanced nutrition, can lead to a vitamin C deficiency. There are also life situations that can increase the need for vitamin C: heavy smokers, those with certain illnesses/infections, those taking certain medications, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding1), too.
